- Are you licensed and insured?
- Yes — Ark Electrical is fully licensed in Michigan and carries comprehensive liability and workers' compensation insurance. Documentation is available on request.
- Do you offer free estimates?
- Yes. We provide free, written, itemized estimates for every project — no surprise charges, no obligation. For larger jobs we usually do a brief on-site visit so the quote is accurate.
- What areas do you serve?
- We primarily serve Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties — covering the metro Detroit area and most of Southeast Michigan. Not sure if you're in our area? Give us a call.
- How soon can you start a project?
- Lead time depends on the scope. Smaller residential jobs often get scheduled within a couple of weeks. Larger projects (panel upgrades, generator installs, battery systems) typically need a longer lead time for permits and equipment.
- Do you handle permits and inspections?
- Yes. We pull the required permits, do the work to current NEC code, and coordinate the inspection with the local AHJ. Permit fees are included in our quotes.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards. For larger projects we typically structure payments as a deposit, a progress payment, and a final payment after inspection sign-off.
- Do you warranty your work?
- Yes. We back our workmanship with a warranty — if something we installed doesn't work right, we come back and make it right. Manufacturer warranties on equipment apply separately.
- Can you upgrade my panel for an EV charger?
- Absolutely — that's one of our most common projects. We coordinate with DTE or Consumers Energy if a service upgrade is needed, and handle everything from meter base to inspection.
